In 2024 we at the Audio Foundation will celebrate 20 years of operation. As we prepare for this, we are pleased to invite proposals and expressions of interest for our Gallery Programme with space available for solo and group exhibitions in the back half of 2024 and 2025.

The purpose of AF’s Gallery Programme is to provide support and opportunities for artists working with sound, or making work exploring themes and concepts related to sound. Artists’ fees plus administrative and technical assistance are available to support the presentation of successful applicants and proposals.

We encourage applicants to consider how public programming (workshops, talks, performances, etc.) or small publications might figure into a project.

Please provide a single page description of the proposed project, short biographies for exhibiting artist(s), as well as images and audio recordings of past work where available.

Applications can be made until August 31, 2023 via email to admin@audiofoundation.org.nz
Please include “2024 GALLERY PROPOSAL” in the subject of your email.

Thank you and we look forward to working with you toward the presentation of your work at the Audio Foundation in 2024.
