Please join us at 11.30am on Saturday 16 for a workshop with The Observatory Project who will be transmitting the knowledge required to make an AM loop antenna for tuning AM broadcasts.

Materials and receivers (radios) will be provided alongside nibbles, and participants will be guided through the assembly of their own antenna.

Once attendants have finished constructing their antenna, there will be an opportunity to explore central Auckland’s unseen electromagnetic milieu using their new senses/sensors. Measurements and non-measurements will be possible during this period of observation and will, with permission, be developed as new field work to be processed by OMONMOSO, currently installed at the Audio Foundation.
