For White Night 2016, Audio Foundation will join over 100 other institutions in keeping its doors open late into the night. Please join us for what is sure to be an enjoyable evening of events!
From 8.00pm in the AF Venue we host performances from Julien Dyne, Clever Calvin, Terracotta Cat, and Lapis & Christoph.
In the AF Gallery, Gerard Crewdson’s exhibition ‘Lost Worlds: Works on Paper and Sound Pieces’, will be open and available for viewing until 11.00pm.
After originating in Europe, White Nights have appeared in cities all over including Cairo, Berlin, Barcelona, and Melbourne. Referring to the fact some institutions stay open all night, the name ‘White Night’ derives from the Parisian event nuit blanche (night white; figuratively, a sleepless night).
