Hailing from Christchurch, The Dance Asthmatics emerged from the womb as a PiL-worshipping dub-punk aggregate unlike anything else on their native isle. They are touring New Zealand this November in support of the reissue of their exceptional 2015 EP Lifetime of Secretion – a mouth to mouth venture between New York label Ever/Never records and New Zealand’s own Melted Ice Cream. It is limited to only 250 copies worldwide and only a handful will be available locally, so get one while you’re able.
Dates and venues are:
Nov 10 – Caroline, Wellington (w. Goya)
Nov 11 – Lucky Base, Whanganui (w. The Pussywhippers)
Nov 12 – Whammy Backroom, Auckland (w. Kraus)
Nov 13 – Audio Foundation, Auckland (w. Diana Tribute)
Nov 18 – Space Academy, Christchurch (w. The Ruling Elite)
Nov 19 – The Penguin Club, Oamaru (w. Best Bets)
