Sam Longmore
Sam Longmore lives and works in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland. Across performance and installation his works make considered gestures toward the ways in which built-spaces condition the behaviour of sound waves within them, and how one’s sensitivity to this interaction contributes to the experience of the spaces which enclose us. Past works have approached these themes by transporting sounds from one space into another, deploying high pitches of pure tones, emulating acoustic phenomena within virtual environments, and by exciting and recording the resonant frequencies of particular locations such as the St James Theatre. He works at The Audio Foundation, quietly operates the mfmp imprint, and enjoys making funny noises with his young daughter.

O/pus
Below the thunders of the upper deep, O/pus (it’s pronounced oops) are Jade Farley (Pumice), Stefan Neville (Pumice), Ducklingmonster (Octopus), and Liz Mathews (Octopus). A band of Tāmaki punks waiting for high tide.
