The labels Stabbies Etc. (N.Z.) and Soft Abuse (U.S.A.) have been go-to sources for those seeking sounds of the underground since the 2000’s were still in diapers.

On the 11th of Feb., the Audio Foundation will play host to the Auckland-leg of Pillowcase: a bi-hemispheric traveling showcase from these beacons for skewed and weird music. The Auckland shows of this touring double feature include sets from many Stabbies Etc. / Soft Abuse alums.
