The Spacies (Daniel Beban, Nell Thomas, Isaac Smith and Anita Clark) perform a new piece for plastic ensemble. Composed by Daniel Beban, the work utilises all of the instruments and sound making devices featured in his current AF exhibition, PET Sounds. Created from plastic bottles, each of these instruments explores a different acoustic parameter, together forming a plastic orchestra of stings, flutes, percussion and reeds. After the performance Daniel will talk about the project and the process of making the instruments.
