Fredrik Rasten (b. 1988)
Fredrik Rasten is a guitarist and composer working in the field of experimental music, both improvised and composed. His main focuses are exploring and utilizing the acoustic possibilities of the steel string guitar, motivated by a fascination for the almost tactile experiences of acoustic phenomena. In recent years he has been working extensively with just intonation, taking an extended concept of consonance as a point of departure. He has studied in this field with Catherine Lamb and Marc Sabat in Berlin. In his work he is also inspired by wandelweiser music, traditional british folk and early music.

Composer-performer Johnny Chang engages in extended explorations surrounding the relationships of sound/listening and the in-between areas of improvisation, composition and performance.
Johnny has been a part of the Wandelweiser composers collective since 2012 and in 2018, initiated a new framework for the presentation of creative research and performances, Partitions & Resonances, aimed at encouraging new and ongoing collaborations between the varied disciplines of composition, musicology, historical research and performance. He currently collaborates with: Antoine Beuger, Phil Dadson, Sam Dunscombe, Keir GoGwilt, Catherine Lamb, Klaus Lang, Mike Majkowski, Phill Niblock, Derek Shirley, Taku Sugimoto, Eric Wong.
