I.RYOKO, RADIO CEGESTE and THE CONVOY will perform a
sonic exploration of the Audio Foundation stairwell (4 Poynton
Terrace) this Wednesday 19th February. 7PM. Koha entry.

i.ryoko is the artistic alias of Thomas Lambert, the Audio
Foundation’s current artist in residence. He is a drone enthusiast
with a focus on synth and voice, a sound-designer for theatre and
film, and director of the music collective, Sonorous Circle.
The Convoy is the solo project of Matt Faisandier, ex-Wellingtonian
currently based in Melbourne. Matt is a prolific genius guitarist
(Ornithologist, Akaname, Perpetual Balance), drummer, audio engineer,
electronics whizz and amp builder.
Radio Cegeste 104.5FM is a small radius mini-FM station hosted by
Dunedin’s Sally Ann McIntyre as an unstable platform for solo and
collaborative, site responsive live transmission events. In 2014 she
has played at the Now NOW festival (Sydney), soundout (Canberra), the
Make it Up Club (Melbourne), Undue Noise (Bendigo) and Sound Club
(Hobart) as well as performing a live radio / video collaborative
piece with Cambell Walker at RM Gallery and Projects (Auckland), and
released a homage to the New Zealand Storm Petrel on Flaming Pines
‘Birds of a Feather’ series (Sydney) with another release forthcoming
on Consumer Waste (UK).
