Come join us out at Audio Foundation where we’ll be trying out our own version of Alvin Lucier’s ‘I Am Sitting In A Room’.

In 1969, Alvin Lucier sat in a room and recorded himself stating the fact. He played the recording back into the space and recorded the playback, over and over again. The result is an ever evolving loop that becomes more and more musical as the room resonates over time.
For our version, we invite you to participate in the evolution of the sound and make it your own. Bring along any objects or instruments and add to the loop as you please.
Briar Mead will be opening the night with a set before we jump into it. Check out Briar Mead here: https://briarmead.bandcamp.com/
