Erena Johnson is an Auckland-based vocalist, composer and poet, best known for her interpretations of poetry through complex harmonic structures and divergent melodies. Drawing inspiration from the improvisational traditions of jazz and Indian classical music, her works create a surprising symmetry of curious sounds.
