Audio Foundation presents #3 – A Monthly Listening Series
Thursday July 12th 8 pm
Following on in our theme of curating three artists with similar ways of working from different musical eras
RST:
Andrew Moon / RST ‘Lost Hills Series’
RST’s Lost Hills series takes Auckland based sound artist Moon’s intimate study of the form into a new realm of song deconstruction and aural space exploration. Following fifteen years traversing realms of elemental micro sound and drone, Lost Hills presents RST’s logical extension into rock and roll minimalism.
NIGEL WRIGHT
Long time stalwart of the Auckland free-sound underground, Nigel creates pieces of cavernous free flowing electronics unhampered by the narrative musical constraints of ‘beginning’, ‘ending’ or ‘development’. Huge clouds of unhinged circular deep rumble, direct from the cathedral of the sky.

FOXTROT
Foxtrot is the solo vocal loop project of Auckland-born Flo Wilson, who is currently studying instrumental/vocal composition and sonic arts at the New Zealand School of Music in Wellington. Following the release of her Live EP earlier this year, she is setting out to begin recording her first studio EP this month, for release later this year.
