Please join us in celebrating the opening of ‘New Sound Perspectives’, Wednesday 9 October, 5.30pm.

‘New Sound Perspectives’ brings together a group of emerging artists, showcasing new voices in experimental sound and sonic arts. The works presented in ‘New Sound Perspectives’ cover a range of kaupapa and presentation methods. From a home made Public Address system, sculptural sound-emitting objects, to explorations of self through sound composition, this exhibition offers viewers (and listeners) a glimpse into some new developments in the Audio Arts in Aotearoa.

Opens: Wednesday 9 October, 5.30pm (w. refreshments from Liberty Breweries)
Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 12.00pm – 4.00pm.
Closes: Saturday 2 November, 4.00pm

In addition to the exhibition which runs throughout the month of October, ‘New Sound Perspectives’ is accompanied by a free live performance event on the Thursday 17 October at The Audio Foundation, programmed especially for Artweek Auckland. More info to come.
