Ducklingmonster

Ducklingmonster grew up under the grapefruit tree in Onehunga, Auckland. Her work has predominantly been in noisy sound, most notably in the band The Futurians, with over thirty releases since 2000, and more recently as a solo performer. Blatantly and happily ignoring the restrictions of media, she works out of bounds in sound, ink, video, broken electronics, and whatever else takes her fancy. She likes hanging and fanging community projects best and has been involved as an artist organiser with Spacething, Wellington and Uniform, Auckland. Her current crazes are sci-fi fanzines, insects, subtropical flora, outmoded instructional a.v, beehives (hairdos), the colour pink, and things that look like planets.
