Every Saturday in the Audio Foundation gallery!  This week featuring Aaron Longville (Saturnian Noise Collective, Mice On Stilts) responding to Nathan Thompson’s installation.

Vitamin S youngblood and saxophonist Aaron Longville regularly performs and collaborates in the free improvisation/sound art and local music scenes. He is currently playing with an Auckland based Doomfolk band Mice On Stilts, leading an 8 piece improvised soundscape band Saturnian Noise Collective and is currently studying jazz music at Auckland University. Aaron’s music is rooted in the development of extended techniques and has performed with acclaimed musicians such as Jeff Henderson, Hermione Johnson, John Bell, Paul Buckton, Collin Woods, Andrew McMillan, Phil Dadson and many other Vitamin S greats. It is rumoured that he obtained his saxophone powers after hugging Peter Brotzmann, twice.
