Hector Hazard (hectorhazard@xtra.co.nz) has taken a 9 year lease on Chicks Hotel in Port Chalmers. It opens in July(ish) with The Dead C as the draw. Hector wants to profile similar acts so spread the word. He's also interested in showcasing alternative film.

Philip Jeck works with old records and record players salvaged from junk shops turning them to his own purposes. Since the early '80's he has made soundtracks and toured with many dance and theatre companies as well as his solo concert work.
