AF is happy to host another Women About Sound workshop.

Women About Sound aim to encourage the development of a thriving diverse music community for cis- and trans-women, and non-binary/gender-diverse people in Aotearoa / New Zealand.

Collaboration and Songwriting

Ever wanted to try a songwriting collab but not sure how to start?

Rebecca Melrose, a.k.a. Miloux, will give insight into the world of collaboration, and tips on how to approach other artists.

We will also have fun working on a collective track during the workshop.

Recently winning the 2020 Aotearoa Music Award for Best Soul/RnB alongside collaborator Haz Beats, Miloux has earned her place in the NZ music industry since her early years performing jazz at Rakinos bar aged 14. She has been twice long-listed for the prestigious Silver Scroll award, as well as featuring on tracks with “supergroups” Fly My Pretties and The Adults, and with Australian producer Plutonic Lab, Yoko Zuna and Chores.
