The Musical Electronics Library (M.E.L.) is once again happy to present the return of “Office Ambience” – a series in which artists are invited to perform in the Audio Foundation’s office space using pieces from the M.E.L. catalogue (https://mel.myturn.com/library/inventory/browse).

Phil Durrant + Christoph Gallio will perform and talk in the Audio Foundation’s office space about their practice.

Born near London in 1957, Phil Durrant is a multi-instrumentalist improviser/composer/sound artist who currently performs solo and group concerts, he was one of the key exponents of the “group voice approach” style of improvised music.
Christoph Gallio (*1957, soprano, alto & c-melody saxophones) is a Swiss saxophone player who moves between composed and improvised music.
