The Musical Electronics Library (M.E.L.) is once again happy to present the return of “Office Ambience” – a series in which artists are invited to perform in the Audio Foundation’s office space using pieces from the M.E.L. catalogue (https://mel.myturn.com/library/inventory/browse).
On the 16th of August at 2pm we are excited to host The Observatory Project in conjunction with the current exhibition “Cloud Above, Cloud Below”.
For this 20th iteration of Office Ambience, members of The Observatory Project will be setting up their cloud chamber for the observation of cosmic radiation passing through The Audio Foundation, and discussing their Adaptable Sound Interferometry Equipment (A SINE), the custom-made system that provides a significant amount of the sonic elements of their project.
Come down for a look and a listen, perhaps ask a few questions, and browse the M.E.L. collection.
