Please join us at the Audio Foundation, Auckland, for the launch of the latest BLACK LANTERN Journal of Tropical-Industrial Art.
The Black Lantern circle are a global network of writers, architects and theorists collectively exploring the boundaries of the emergent aesthetic known as ‘Tropical-Industrial.’
In BLACK LANTERN 3: THE TOOTH AND THE TREE they discuss divination, aesthetic crime and other topics in the spirit of Tropical-Industrial.
This event coincides with the conclusion of Ron Gallipoli’s time as Audio Foundation’s artist in residence, and will be complimented by a special live performance with video art and a demonstration of the ancient and mystical ritual known only as ‘The Tooth and Tree Divination Method’.
Friday 11 May @ Audio Foundation, doors open 7.00pm
