BASEMENT BLOODBATH: a terrifyingly great Halloween lineup featuring COOL RUNNINGS, THE CRABBS, DUCKLINGMONSTER, POWER NAP, and KRAUS!

Four young rockers went overseas with dreams to conquer the world, only to come back to NZ as shambling mindless husks! Powered by the muscle-memory of depraved goodtimes, COOL RUNNINGS inhabit an in-the-red afterlife of desperate debauchery – don’t look them in the eye or suffer their fate!

The pincer-like prowess of THE CRABBS will scuttle you into a state of musical muto-mania! Take no pity on these half-crustation monstrosities, they (un)live to entertain YOU via their freaky back-from-the-grave frat-rock party hits! Catch the Crabbs – they’re contagious!

DUCKLINGMONSTER’s death-disco-dunt is the ultimate in party beats from a dark dimension! Like a robotic ‘Hound Of The Baskervilles’, her unearthly howl echoes like a curse from her blasthemous bill – all listeners must make a -10 Saving Throw vs. Spells or be placed under Ducklingmonster’s command to dance!

Like a scene from a 1970s Steven King novel, POWER NAP sets the dance floor literally ablaze! A one-man supernatural Soul Dracula, his eldritch electro-boogie is summoned from psychedelic realms, with blood-dripping basslines ripped from the digital dreams of the high-speed somnambulist!

Mystic man of musical mystery KRAUS rises from his ancient tomb – in the future! Guitar / synth hieroglyphs inscribed on alien monoliths by a caveman wizard from the year 2525! His clean-cut demeanour belies his ‘Cousin It’-like natural state!

Audio Foundation, Friday 31 October, $8 entry – eerily early start 7pm! Costumes are cooler – R18!
