WAV exhibition opening with Dawn Marble, Rado Z (SVK), Daif King, Ben Clement and Chris Cudby – plus Afrika Pseudobruitismus screening Brana, Calypso, Dendrita
Group exhibition of local and international artists exploring contemporary notions of liquidity & transparency – like post-post-object art, ‘the science of flow, fluidity and freshness’ (Adam Harper) or ‘some kind of DJ Spooky-esque mixtape/playlist analogy’. WAV is an exhibition of both new and previously exhibited works featuring a combination of video, sculpture, painting and clothing/textiles.
Brana, Calypso, Dendrita is a triple-screen video work using the sounds of Moroccan psychedelic musician Afrika Pseudobruitismus as a compositional tool providing cues to three contributing directors – left screen: Darío Peña, center screen: Stanley Sunday, right screen: Dostopos. From an original idea by David Domingo (Stanley Sunday).
