Bomb the Space
Founded by free jazz saxophonist Jeff Henderson in 2001 in Wellington. The Bomb the Space festival brings together some of the most adventurous musicians from across New Zealand and the world for five nights of destruction, reconstruction and realignment of music, noise and sound.

Alleluya Noise Festival
Alleluya, a festival dedicated to Auckland's experimental/other music communities. Performances ranged from experimental sound abstraction, traditional Chinese folk music, DIY, genre breaking songsters, film improvisations and atonal brass marching bands. 

TransAcoustic

Lines of Flight
Metonymic presented a four day experimental music and video event bringing together 18 of New Zealand's more cutting edge practitioners in sound and a range of music that extends from free noise, both quiet and loud, through intricate jazz and folk-based improvisation, to ambient and not-so-ambient electronic soundfields.

Version
The Version Festival showcases a unique mix of art, design, music, science and technology in a variety of settings. Featuring original performances by innovative digital media artists exploring cutting edge new technologies.

[09]03 featured new and rarely-heard music from New Zealand and beyond, performed by New Zealand's two most seasoned contemporary ensembles and joined by some major figures from the international scene. Events included solo and ensemble concerts, panel discussions, workshops and seminars, improv and electronica events, music with video, multimedia installations..
