empirical "based on observation or experience...trial and error"..allowing myself to go wrong till it goes right

Having no formal training but a desire of sound, I took the easy way and build instruments. An engineering background (and foreground) is reflected in the steel welded frames of the shimsaw and the dead flat bed of the tape loop machine.

Mostly duo work with like minded souls(Rosy, Dean, Dave the Cov) and some solo work. Occasional shows and recordings..hiding, generating mystique through obscurity.

These electro acoustic and very analogue instruments...aaaah when they play and hum there is nothing like it, gotta be through a nice strong amp to make that enveloping field. Yes.
