Alex MacKinnon
My audio practice moves through from analog to digital fluidly - a love for 'broken' guitars and stringed instruments, amplifiers, tape machines and home-spun electronics - all things i like to think have a sonic result and connection to how you interact with them as an expressive body - then all meeting in a bleary space with the computer and everything that can happen inside of it.
All this does junction with my other artistic practices. Especially the installation/visual work, but also through into radio DJing etc...
Im also an active collaborator/ band type, and run my own craft DIY record label RADIO JAUNDICE.
